Why can't they get these simulations to look more like reality? If you're going to put up this type of video at least it should be real. Simulation is annoying when you're expecting the genuine article

I was flown to San Juan with a colleague in '97 to implement a new business system hotel management system at a Best Western in Central San Juan. I remember the old town, similar to old town Zacatecas Mexico where I met my wife three years prior to my work in Puerto Rico. What impressed me the most, our client drove us to an ordinary looking restaurant in the downtown area, some blocks from the beach, and I was served the most amazing filet of salmon in tomato-fredo sauce--I knew it was a Pirate's life for me that day while missing my wife, 3000 miles away. I flew alone from Phoenix to Dallas, which has the worst layover window, but managed to grab a Pizza and fly from Dallas to San Juan. I have always loved the deep tropics since a business trip to Venezuela's Margarita Island and Angel Falls, out of San Francisco connecting to Avensa at JFK, and changing planes in Caracas, flying on to Margarita. When I see people sharing their flights, I remember that, though I was not paid much, being a tourism systems teacher allowed me to see places like Puerto Rico, found me an airline desk agent to marry in Mexico, and move to Phoenix, and the nomadic life continued when my daughter went to Italy for historical graduate study, visiting places my career and work took me too, even since high school. Southwest Airlines is quite popular in Phoenix, though I had to fly American (who I worked for as a data analyst up unto my retirement). When I worked for Doubletree Hotels, before they merged with Hilton, I was head of their systems purchasing and helped them create a hotel to headquarters reservation interface. Their HR director was related to Herb Kelleher, who launched Southwest, and she was the one who interviewed me for Doubletree. That is why this video is so important to me. I left college after just two years in '81, realizing I did not want to be a Doctor, or Lawyer, or University Professor. But fate and my parents raised me in the Napa Valley after we fled Chicago in '66, having had the worst winter. I loved travel so much, then thanks to "Falcon Crest" and the Vallejo theme park, now called "Discovery Kingdom", Hotels started sprouting up like mushrooms in Napa--the first one I worked at hosted the Falcon Crest cast and crew and they were so kind to us, and even built personal relationships with us on a first name basis, and they entertained the transient guests visiting the wineries, humble they were. Travel binds us together, in the darkest of times it creates the euphoria of cultural understanding. Without travelers like you, or those who visit your channel, I might have taken a different path in life, but I found joy in talking to our guests and later when I taught the young ones like me how to use their computer systems to have more personal contact with the guest.
